At The Flower Lounge, we are committed to delivering your flowers and gifts with care and efficiency. Please read our shipping policy below to understand how we handle local and national deliveries.

Local Deliveries

We take great pride in delivering your flowers by hand within the Greater Manchester area, ensuring that they arrive fresh and beautifully arranged. Here’s how our local delivery works:

  • Same-Day Delivery: We offer same-day local delivery within a 3-mile radius from our shop for orders placed by 12 PM. Please note that delivery availability and cut-off times may change without prior notice, especially during peak seasons.
  • Delivery Days: We process orders from Tuesday to Saturday. Orders placed on Sundays, Mondays, or public holidays will be processed on the next working day. Please note that we do not deliver on Sundays, Mondays, or public holidays, and in such cases, deliveries will be made on the next working day.

National Deliveries

Certain products, particularly our dried flower arrangements, are available for national delivery. These items will be clearly marked in the product description.

Standard National Delivery: £7.50 (2–5 working days, Monday - Saturday)

Express National Courier Delivery: £15.00 (1–2 working days, Monday – Friday)

Orders placed by 12 PM Monday-Thursday for Express National Courier Delivery will be delivered the next working day. Orders placed after 12 PM will be delivered within two working days. Orders placed Friday-Sunday will be delivered the following Wednesday. This service requires a signature upon delivery and is available for UK mainland addresses only.

Please Note:

- We use a range of courier services for national deliveries. If a tracking number is provided, you can track your order via the courier’s website.

- We aim to process and dispatch orders within 1-3 working days. During peak periods, processing times may be longer. If you need your order urgently, we encourage you to use the Express National Courier Delivery option and notify us of your needs.

- For remote UK postcodes, please allow an additional 1–2 days for delivery.

Delivery Terms

- Accurate Address Information: To ensure successful delivery, please provide complete and accurate address details, including the postcode and a daytime contact number or email address.

- Delivery Anomalies: In case of any anomalies or issues with delivery (e.g. recipient not being available), we will either attempt delivery to a neighbour or leave a card with instructions to arrange re-delivery.

- Third-Party Locations: If delivering to a location involving a third party (e.g. office, hospital, hotel), the signature of the individual accepting the delivery will be considered proof of delivery. Please note, we cannot deliver alcohol or plants to funeral directors, hospitals, airports, or ships.

- Preferred Delivery Time: You may specify a preferred delivery time for funeral orders in the Delivery Notes field during checkout. We will do our best to meet this request but cannot guarantee delivery by the specified time.

- Failed Deliveries: If the recipient has moved or no longer resides at the address provided, we cannot accept responsibility if the goods are delivered to the address provided and not returned.
